We are looking for an outgoing candidate with previous restaurant management experience to provide a great work environment for the team and drive positive results.  This responsible, experienced individual will experience a 40 hour work week on average (5 shifts)

Restaurant General Manager

Job Duties:

  • Plan and direct all restaurant operations. Maintain high standards of food, service, health and safety, ensure efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant and the optimal utilization of staff and resources.

  • Responsible for weekly inventory, identify and estimate food and beverage supply requirements and place orders with suppliers, negotiate purchase prices and develop preferred suppliers, schedule food and beverage deliveries, check quality of deliveries and documentation

  • Accomplishes restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff via enforcing policies and procedures.

  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by preparing forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks.

  • Prepare weekly, daily, and monthly reports on all aspects of the business.

  • Maintains operations through policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and patron-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.

  • Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.

  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.

  • Helps to attract patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; identifying and tracking changing demands.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry

  • Interact with customers to ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled promptly

  • Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Sales-Building with community and local business outreach

  • Respond to Reviews to insure customer satisfaction and on-going restaurant improvement

  • Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services

  • Restaurant/Bar industry: 5-8+ years (Desired)

  • ServSafe (Required)
